We’ve decided to open on Tuesdays.
According to David Walsh,
“Last week I was trying to play tennis on the lawn but, depsite the large and distinctive ‘closed’ sign, there were people
everywhere getting in the way so I gave in and decided to open. If my day off was going to be wrecked I thought I’d wreck
the day off of the already overworked staff. Schadenfreude”.
The facts:
Starting from today (January 3), MONA will open seven days a week – until we change our minds. Again.
(It will probably only be until the end of the month).
That means:
Everything will be the same as before: food, wine, beer, library, bookshop and art – except now there’s an extra day of it.

Wim Delvoye
More than one hundred works by Belgian conceptual artist, Wim Delvoye. There is heated debate among us at Mona about
the ethical integrity of his work, and pronunciation of his name.
