Dave, please forgive me but why should I celebrate 5 years of fighting corrupt industrialists by buying swags for the homeless?

Dave I have some new ideas on this. Why not donate the money to either TAP or The Greens? Both have huge fights underway that will help shape the world OUR CHILDREN will be living in. TAP has a major project early in 2010 and can use all the help we can give them.
My understanding is that Launceston’s homeless are being looked after by the mayor that won by 10 votes. His charity was getting donations by the worlds largest wood-chip exporter up until recently.
the same company wants to build this pulp mill that is giving me and my friends of the North Tamar absolutely nothing to celebrate.

Thanks Karl.
I have already had other inquiries and offers about where funds should be directed.
The idea here, is to celebrate the distinct lack of a pulp mill.
The secondary part to our celebration is recognising those less fortunate, and finding a way to help them within our means.
It’s no big thing, no quick fix, but hopefully a way for those who are better off in our community, to afford some crisis support for those who are beyond means.
I still need 20 people to give me the nod ASAP, to run this baby across the line, so spread the word!!!
