Last Sunday on US NBC’s Meet the Press  … The individual interviews with Israel’s Dan Gillerman and Lebanon’s Nouhad Mahmoud, followed by the insight analysis of Pulitzer Prize winning author and columnist for the New York Times, Thomas L.  Friedman , is incredibly valuable for anyone who wants to better appreciate the hard realities behind the current incarnation of this conflict between peoples and religions, as well as the politics behind it all. I listen to weekly through their podcast. This past Sunday was, what I consider “required” reading / listening on the current crisis in the Middle East.
