Or, perhaps, they could send their effluent by another pipe and the people of the East Coast could purify the spoutings of the mill. This makes as much sense as taking drinking water from the South Esk and piping it to the proposed mill site, polluting it and then dumping the effluent into Bass Strait.

MAY I be a bit bold and suggest that the water “excess” that is being sold to Gunns for the polluting mill be piped, instead, to the East Coast for PEOPLE who need to drink water and bathe in the stuff.
