Karl is fast becoming an indispensable political commentator of particular genius. I see here the workings of a creative mind on the high wire with no safety net. This is brilliant stuff.
Let me be the first to say, as an art historian (I used to be paid to teach the subject), that we are seeing the birth of a movement which includes Lukas Henning, Mark (De Anima) and Dave Groves, with considerable early input from elder statesman Mike Bolan, the Pissarro of the movement.
Though alluding to Impressionism is wrong. I am reminded of German rather than French precedents. Take a look at the art of the Weimar Republic: Otto Dix, George Grosz, the Dada movement etc.
