We moved to a rural area 7 years ago to try and be self sufficient. We have the chooks, vegie plot and orchard. Mini vineyard gone in to give us juice and wine. Next on the agenda is solar panels/power, water tanks and water recyling systems to water all our veg/fruit. Trouble is they want to build a pulp mill 3km from us so all our plans for total self sufficiency have been on hold for 5 years. We have our act together and ready to go but have to wait whilst a large company cannot sort its problems out. Come on Tas Government stop supporting Gunns who couldn’t run a chook raffle and let the rest of us get on with our lives. We could have saved 5 years of carbon but are not going to spend thousands of $s to have our investment ruined. This comment appears on this article HERE. Comment HERE
