Tasmania’s Solicitor-General has called for comprehensive ethics and legal training for public servants. Leigh Sealy’s call comes as Tasmania considers whether it needs an ethics commission or a full-blown Independent Commission Against Corruption. In his annual report, Mr Sealy says there is a clear need for a more or less comprehensive and continuing program of education. He says it should cover both the legal and ethical responsibilities of the Crown and its servants. Read more here
