Interest in restoring the Tasmanian Parliament to 35 Members of the Lower House has reached a considerable level. Even Paul Lennon the previous Premier spoke of the need on Election night.
The Tasmania Constitution Society, a community of like minded people, is holding a public meeting on 27 April at the University Centre at Sandy Bay At 6:30pm.

This is a chance for Tasmanians to fix their Parliament.
At our first public forum early this month, Doug Lowe returned from a lengthy period of public silence to address the audience with refreshing directness.

Lowe stated that the reform process must be considered, inclusive, logical and enduring.  The need for reform, he assured us, is urgent.
