Image for Protest at Gunns’ AGM will target potential pulp mill investors

Protestors will today converge on Gunns AGM to show potential pulp mill investors that there are huge risks associated with investing in the Tamar Valley pulp mill. The pulp mill is opposed by the majority of Australians, independent assessors found it to be ‘critically non-compliant’, and it carries massive financial risks.

Ethical Gunns shareholders will also be attending the AGM to put questions directly to the Gunns Board over the devastating impact their company is having on the community, on Tasmania’s reputation and on the environment.

Where: Gunns Ltd head office, Lindsay Street, Launceston.

When: from 10.00am Wednesday 11 November
