One of the links within the story set out the history of how shell in 2001 sought various approvals to build this pipeline. Straight forward until you read the type of pipeline they wished to build and and the way that Shell have managed the process of project. It has a number of points within the article of interest to Tasmanians in regard to the political process, the process of approving such projects and the clout of big companies.
