Moore is wrong.  It will only be necessary for 20 million Iraqis to be killed, not 27 million.  The other 7,000,000 will get the message.

The war against Iraq was won by May 2003.  George said the mission was accomplished, and who are a bunch of lefty journos and pseudo-intellectuals to disagree with him?

Since then, there has really been another, different war, and the Americans have already lost it.

What is of crucial importance, however, is that this fact be concealed from the US public, and that the admission of defeat not be made until 2009, because it will then be made by a new president and George will remain in the history books as a winner.

Then all those whingeing peaceniks who are now so anti-Bush will have to eat their weaselly words.

Michael Moore no one really takes seriously.  His high school stance on the the whole post 9/11 scenario is bloated and cynical.  I did like his work on ‘bowling for columbine’ however, he showed his considerable guts in that one.

Robert Fisk on the otherhand is nothing short of a apologist for many murderers.  He is the man who cried that we should be upholding international law and sending a subpeona to Osama and co in Afgahnistan. Yes the coke must have been good in his borough of London late 2001. He is the one that chooses to concerntrate on Allied mis forgivings rather than the rather larger misforgivings of their enemies. He is a journalist that garners credibility(on the left anyway) and uses that credibility to undermine a lot of hard work and difficulty that is waded through in our flawed yet reasonably accountable system of governance.

By your patronising gibble JB I gather you agree with Muchael Moore, Robert Fisk et al.  If we aren’t talking names in journos we ain’t talking much, unless you think they stand for something else other than their particular bent by which you can identify them.  What the heck you on about with your Beverly hills sooooooo’s , oh you beartch!

For your information, John, I have considerable disagreements with a lot that both Moore and Fisk write.  There is also a lot that I agree with. 

Perhaps that is too complex for you to take in, especially as one has to read what is written in order to separate the wheat from the chaff.

I even read your posts on TT, rather than just seeing the “John Herbert” tag and ignoring the content.
