What’s a machine man?  What in particular is wrong with Wayne Swan?  He’s better than Mark Latham.

I will assist.

I had one regret after I forwarded this cartoon. Simply, given the broad choice of Labour MPs, I would have selected Martin Ferguson over Wayne Swan, Lindsay Tanner, Stephen Smith etc. This was largely due to Mark Latham’s comments on Martin’s political faction or machine (CFMEU).

However, the cartoon generated from Barry Jones’ words and not mine.

As to Wayne Swan, I watched his performance on a Sunday program where he was questioned on the Telstra sale and Labour policy. I saw a man underprepared and operating within a policy vacuum. I left the room out of pity.
