When it comes to Forestry media stunts Forestry’s spinners are masters of spin.

That old battered brief case, the one Forestry promised they’d open for all the public to see has been bound, chained, taped, bolted, keeping the disastrous facts firmly locked away from the general public.

Infact the FT spin masters have either ignored, dismissed or hidden the truth for so long they actually believe their own stupidity and misguided publicity as being good for the environment. Unfortunately and devastatingly they would rather be consistent than do what is good and right.

Much better to donate to on the ground environmental research than to have ones money ripped from the public coffers for continuing to maintain Forestry’s propaganda lies - promoting an environmental nightmare.

Keep Forestry as far away as possible from waterways, they have proven to have no understanding of water and its immediate, short or long term importance.

There was a good letter in the Examiner today from a South African couple who had toured through Tasmania. They were obviously impressed with the beauty of Tasmania and its forests and implored Tasmanians to protect and preserve these natural assets. Personally I’d much prefer to see a forest than a mountain of woodchips. Keep up the good work forest protesters.

Surely it’s about time that ALL the anti pulp-mill and anti forestry people sent a letter of protest and abhorrence to our non-caring minister for nearly everything, David Llewellyn?
This the person behind so much of the blind stupidity and woefully ignorant goings-on here in Tasmania.
