Former justice Christopher Wright felt “compromised” and pressured by Premier Paul Lennon to speed up the assessment of the Gunns pulp mill. Mr Wright, the former chair of the Resource Planning and Development Commission, verbally resigned after the February 27 meeting with Mr Lennon. “I felt compromised,’’ he said yesterday. “I was having this pressure placed upon me. I would be seen as selling out those members of the public who had shown an interest in the process.”
