Well, that pretty much sums up what the media have decended to.
They are too lazy, and too unprepared to commit resources to do journalism properly any more, and boy, does it show. No wonder so many organisations have given up dealing with them.
When crap like this is sent their way, they run it without ever bothering to investigate its veracity. Probably too busy contemplating the collapse of their own business model!
