Enough said. If no one will put up a buck to save this nice sight on our landscape - let alone the soulful history within - then let nature alone bring dust to dust.
We meanwhile kneel and pray that no one does anything to save the decay and destruction of Marine Board blocks, Zero Davy, rat-cage wheat silos, Lego car parks, AMP, not-so-grand Chancellors et al.

I find it wonderful that, according to reports I have heard, Bishop Harrower has deconsecrated one of his predecessors. Apparently Bishop Blackwood’s ashes are in the Blackwood chapel of Holy Trinity, and he has be declared Unholy, along with what is now Unholy Trinity.
is there no honour among bishops?

Can I just play devil’s advocate here and scandalously suggest (and decide how serious I am about it later) that the thing be converted to low-cost inner-city housing in the twin names of social justice and the reduction of the great environmental curse of urban sprawl? ;)
