David Bartlett has finally admitted what everyone else knew, that Acting Police Commissioner Hine directly warned him about the potential of criminal charges against Mr Richard McCreadie, but that the Premier ignored the warning. After numerous questions from the media and several questions in the Legislative Council, Government Leader Doug Parkinson, speaking for the Premier, has finally conceded: “At no time has the Premier disputed Mr Hine’s evidence to the Select Committee.”
