Another good one Dave! A nice big billboard with this on parked at the exit from the ferry terminal would give the tourists the chance to partake of an added adventure on their holiday of a lifetime. We could advertise this as an adventure holiday in all the adventure lifestyle mags. Another billboard trailer parading up and down at the airport would be sure to attract the attention of the modern adventure tourist. Know anyone with just such a trailer???
All tourist operators should wake up and stop sitting on the fence. Look at what is happening to this place! I have just had friends staying who say the tourism industry here is advertising under false pretences. The reality was a big disappointment for them especially when they were terrorised by log trucks on Bruny Island running them off the road to get to the ferry to sneak another load in. I have lots of friends who bring their caravans and motor homes over and I now tell them to avoid East Coast Nature World and spread the word when they are in the caravan parks. What a joke, Gunns helping to save the devil with a pittance of a donation when they are decimating the whole state with clearfell and spraying on their damned plantations at the taxpayers expense. Tourism operators wake up you are at one second to midnight on this one. It maybe already too late!
