When you read about things like this it is very hard to resist praying for some politicians. I do not mean to help them. I want them to find themselves in the LGH’s emergency department, and needing help and it not being there. Why, because of what they have and haven’t done and what their staff have and haven’t done.
If there is a God then we can expect this to happen very very soon. We should all be working on that one and I throw out the challenge. Pray people pray!
In the meantime I am wondering just how long it will take for the LGH’s emergency staff to get their fridge.

It looks like the natives are getting restless in voter land. The situation in Tasmania’s hospitals is not only really concerning, it is starting to get to be very very silly.
You just have to wonder what it is that you have to do to get a politician’s attention, and once you’ve got it, what must you do to get them to take action?
If the problem is in Launceston and the politician lives in Hobart my guess is it would need to be some kind of miracle. You know, one like walking on water or turning water into wine or in this instance, water into good medicine.
I do not think praying is going to do anything but I’ll give it a go because it might help me calm down.

Now what is there to say about all this? The hospitals are a mess, all the state government’s best businesses are not making a profit and there is no money coming in to fix things up.
There is a new federal government and in time they may get things sorted out. But you do have to wonder how we got to where we are. It probably took a lot of effort to muck things up this badly. It is a shame really.
