There is something seriously wrong when filmmakers producing international recognised work, are ignored by Screen Tasmania http://www.abc.net.au/news/stories/2009/10/03/2703974.htm while those with limited experience are rewarded.
What checks are in place to ensure funding provides the maximum exposure of Tasmanian films and filmmakers to the world?

Can you please explain how a musician, with only one short film credit, about the family friendly topic of junkie lesbians who wish to commit suicide, is deemed eligible by Screen Tasmania for $90,000 in funding? ( latest funding round)
