My good friend Bacchus No-Smoke was having a beer at Shippies Hotel in Battery Point, where he heard that Craig Clifford will reopen the Prince of Wales Hotel in Hampden Rd - which went belly up before Xmas - around February 1.

Readers will recall an earlier report,  Mary’s amazing news, that Clifford and three mates had bought the pub.

Bacchus says they have PLANS for the Prince but in the meantime, it will be business as usual.
